Terms and Conditions: Enquiry Survey Competition
1. The Promoter
The promoter is: Polaris of Saxon Business Park, Hanbury Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4AD. These Terms and Conditions apply to all companies within the Polaris Community.
2. The Competition
2.1. The title of the competition is Win £250 of Amazon Vouchers.
2.2. Those who have recently had their enquiry to foster with one of our brands in the community closed down may be sent a survey. By completing the survey, you will gain a submission entry into a competition to win £250 worth of Amazon Vouchers.
3. How to enter
3.1. Competition dates
The competition will run from 1st April 2023 (the "Opening Date") to midnight on the 31st December 2023 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.2. Competition entry deadline
All competition entries must be received by the Promoter no later than midnight on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3. To enter the competition:
(a) Enter the competition
Complete the online survey and submit before the Closing Date. Those eligible to complete the survey will receive the link via SMS. Only 1 entry per person, multiple entries will not be counted.
3.4. No purchase necessary
No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.
3.5. The Promoter will not accept:
(a) Competition entries
responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.6.Terms and conditions
By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

3.8 .Judging criteria
The competition winner will be randomly selected.
4. Eligibility
4.1.Competition residents
The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) Promoter's employees
employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c)Family members
Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2. Eligibility to enter
In order to enter the competition, you confirm that you are eligible and eligible to claim any prize that may be awarded. The Promoter may require proof of eligibility in order to enter the competition.
4.3. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or
(c) incomplete.
4.4. Limit of one entry
There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5. Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of this prize competition.
4.6. Competition entries cannot be returned.
5. The prize
5.1. Number of prizes
The prize is £250 worth of Amazon vouchers and one voucher is available to be won.
5.2. Prize substitution
Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
5.3. Prize supplier
The prize is supplied by Polaris Community of Malvern View, Saxon Business Park, Hanbury Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4AD (the "Supplier"). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6. Winners
6.1. Final decision
The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2. Contact the winner
The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
6.3. Publishing winners
The Promoter must make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails marketing@polariscommunity.co.uk within one month after the Closing Date of the competition.
6.4. Objections to publication
If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. Claiming the prize
7.1. Claiming the prize
Please allow 30 days for delivery of the prize after we’ve managed to contact you.
7.2. Third-party claims
The prize cannot be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3. Claiming prize
If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, then the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to an eligible entrant selected from among those entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4. Promoter not responsible
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors (whether acting in their individual capacity or as part of a group) or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
9.1. Competition entry
All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
9.2. Competition entry
By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
- Assign intellectual property
assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
- waive all moral rights,
in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
10. Data protection and publicity
10.1. Personal information
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.polariscommunity.co.uk/privacy-notice/. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
11. General
11.1. Breach of terms
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your participation in the competition.
11.2. Promoter's right
If it becomes necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize competition.
11.3. Governing law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
